Install pipe to supply water in areas where Areca palms were removed during Phase One and replaced with alternate landscape.

Building Maintenance: Installation of Fire Alarm System
Purpose:
1. Install fire alarm system to comply with Florida State law and Miami-Dade County ordinance.
2. To monitor electronically, pull stations in each unit atrium which will identify that exact location.
As required;
1. Compliance with Florida Statute Chapter 718.
2. Compliance with the Miami-Dade County Fire Department.
Special assessment approved August 14, 2007 for $317,800.
Contractor: Florida State Fire & Security.
Contract price $317,800, funded by special assessment.
Addendum $6,800, funded by operating account.

Building Maintenance: Wooden Patio Fencing
Purpose: replace deteriorating wood and paint.
Buildings 1, 2, 3, 7, & 8 are 95% complete. Buildings 4, 5, & 6 are 10% complete.

Building Maintenance: Supply side water pipe upgrade
Purpose: to improve the water quality and increase water pressure.
Proposal: to reline pipe with epoxy resin to galvanized piping from meter to inside all units.
Scope of work:
Disconnect at meter, disconnect at kitchen sink valve & hot water tank valve. Apply process.
Reconnect meter, kitchen & hot water tank valve.
Process has 3 steps. A. Dry the interior pipe with heated air. B. Sand blast interior of pipe. C. Apply epoxy resin.
Warranty: 10 years. Extends life of pipe by approximately 40 years.
Proposal has no provisions for removing/ replacing/ relining any existing copper piping.
Estimated cost is subject to change due to scope of work supplements, labor or material increases, time delays, etc.

The Areca Palm Project Phase One is the removal of Areca palms that had a negative financial impact on the community in connection

Building Maintenance: Roof: reflective white coating
Heather Walk Condominium Inc., was invited to participate in an energy savings program sponsored by FPL.
The objective of the Residential Building Envelope Program: to reduce electrical demand & energy usage from
air conditioning equipment by encouraging energy conservation through the installation of qualifying measures.
Qualifying measures for this project refers to an application of reflective white coating.
Some roof repair was required prior to upgrade application at the expense of Heather Walk Condominium Inc.
Completed June 06, 2008. $12,000 funded by reserve account. Installation of reflective coating funded by FPL.
