Proposal: Blacktop roads and parking lots.

Building Maintenance: Upgrade supply side water pipes.
Purpose: to improve delivery reliability while increasing water pressure.
Proposal: Line interior of galvanized piping with epoxy resin from street meter to inside unit.
Scope of work: Apply 5 step process:
1. From street disconnect water meter, from inside unit disconnect kitchen sink shut off valve and hot water tank shut off valve.
2. Dry interior of pipe with heated air. 3. Sand blast interior of pipe. 4. Apply epoxy resin to interior of pipe.
5. Reconnect meter, kitchen and hot water tank valve.
Proposal does not provide for replacing any existing galvanized or copper piping deemed to thin to line with epoxy resin.
Warranty: 10 years. Extends life of pipe by approximately 30 years.
Estimated cost is subject to change due to scope of work supplements, labor or material increases, or time delays.
Funding split between calendar year 2010, 2011, 2012 and partial 2013. Phase 1 July 2012, Phase 2 July 2013.

1. 40 year re-certification of occupancy as required by Miami Dade County Building Department under section 8-11(f). February 2013.

Building Maintenance: Manual Fire Alarm System
Purpose:
1. To install a manual fire alarm system.
2. To monitor electronically, pull stations in each unit atrium which will identify that exact location.

2. Compliance with the Miami-Dade County Fire Department.
Special assessment approved August 14, 2007 for $317,800.
Contractor: Florida State Fire & Security.
Contract price: $317,800. 2 Addendums: 1. hard wiring of phone lines 2. installing cooling fans: Total $6,800.

Heather Walk Condominium Inc., was invited to participate in an energy savings program sponsored by FPL.
The objective of the Residential Building Envelope Program: to reduce electrical demand & energy usage from
air conditioning equipment by encouraging energy conservation through the installation of qualifying measures.
Qualifying measures for this project refers to an application of reflective white coating.
Some roof repair was required prior to upgrade application at the expense of Heather Walk Condominium Inc.
